Evaluation of non-acoustic properties of traffic noise walls

The presented research aims to reduce the uncertainty in selection of noise wall panel materials, and thus improve traffic management process Republic Croatia. An evaluation concrete, metal, wood, transparent panels is performed material procedure planning design walls. Properties made these four basic materials are studied under assumption that acoustic requirements relating structure have been fully met. Thus, focuses on six non-acoustic properties (criteria must be considered by civil engineers): mechanical resistance stability, service life, construction, maintenance, replacement costs, life recyclability. These analysed using publicly available data from secondary sources. systematized subjected a multicriteria analysis, which has revealed concrete highest (weighted unweighted) mean score.
